yes, i guess so. but a lot of people do not have the room to do that. it will naturally dry out when you store it away. the water wont hurt it. dan

Maybe that's why I couldn't take the cover off the pool, cuz I forgot the part about having my dog playing with his toy. :-\

Wow, my pool never gets blue after i open it. maybe because my cover has holes and it is very old.
