Using intelligence supplied by Tactical Imagery Wing from the analysis of RAPTOR imagery, RAF TORNADO GR4 aircraft based at GIOIA DEL COLLE undertook armed reconnaissance missions in the areas of AJDABIYA and MISRATAH. The TORNADOS were involved in a number of Strikes against Gadaffi's forces using Brimstone weapons.
This footage shows an engagement against Gadaffi forces demonstrating hostile actions or intent against the towns.
This sequence shows a group of three multiple rocket launchers; an inaccurate area weapons system. The weapon systems continue to launch rockets whilst under observation by the TORNADOs who quickly move to Strike. In the Strike shown in the sequence it is possible to see just how low collateral the Brimstone is, with one of the crew running away from the damaged vehicle.
