More excellence. I still have a subscription to the Cambridge Chronicle, and I've read that this terminals days are numbered. Document as much as you can. Once it is gone - it is gone forever!..... There used to be a track that went up a short incline, in the center of the loop. When I was a kid I was lucky to watch them push an older car, pre-PCC, up the incline and onto a trailer and haul it off. Too young to have a camera..........

You do have to pay to get to the platform, there are fare gates.

cool when you where at lechmere do you just walk right on to the platform and pay on the train or do u have to pay twice one to get into the station and again on the train

I have heard about the plans to replace Lechmere. It is one of the few all original stations!

Excellent footage!!! Is it possible you could get more footage of this location? It's one of my favorite locations on the system! Now...how about footage from Boston College loop? Again...Great work keep those videos comin'!

Thanks, I like Lechmere a lot too. I was in a hurry when I filmed this so I could not get more footage. Sometime when it gets nicer out I want to film Lechmere and the entire viaduct, along with the Boston College line.
