Britain Plans Cap on Non-EU Immigration

Britain's new coalition government has pledged to put a cap on the number of non-EU immigrants allowed into Britain. Some people believe it's what the country needs to deal with over-population. But, as Selah Hennessy reports from London, others say it could hurt British business as well as the economies of some of the world's poorest countries.

When people from European nations of different ethnic groups and different cultures settled in USA, within a generation or two they all assimilated into one people.

The Africans and Amerinians who lived their have not assimilated and remain very different from those of European descent. Why? Biological, racial differences. Europeans can either face up to it realistically now or leave their descendants to learn it the hard way.

@stereoype One thing u need to know is that we all are one, and while no one will mind going back to their home countries. but for what good will that do Britain, if the real population problem is from around Europe. Non EU constitute only 10% of the British population and so to me it makes no difference.

That's true and nobody ever condems any other race or ethnic group of people for looking out for it's own interests, it's only White people who are labelled as 'racists or 'haters' or 'bigots' for doing what's right for our own people.

If you want to come to Europe, leave your violence, rape, riots, disease, religion and faulty 3rd world thinking at the door. Coming here says you want to be European, so act like it. You can't sit around smoking dope, beating on your wife and expect the Government to support you. Europe is what it is today through the toils of every European, this is not a passenger union. Yes, Immigration from 3rd world countries is way, way too high. The UK has changed far too rapidly in the last 20 years, and the benefits of 3rd world mass immigration are far outweighed but the cost to the indigenous majority.

The labour government had no mandate to allow this momentous and unprecedented change & the majority of British people (of all ethnicities) feel very betrayed.

Hopefully now that we have a new government things will start to change.

This is a Europe-wide problem!
