The 2008 photo contest was postponed due to Hurricane Dolly. The winners were to be announced June1 but we are still waiting.

spi is cool, I go every summer. I've been a the way up that road that heads north, and there's a bunch of shells. Do you know what's even further north on the island?

Yes, me to. Iv been to the other beaches and not a lot can compare. Even in the Bahamas! SPI stays in your hart.

I love Padre. I prefer it late summer and early fall when the Kids are back in school and the ocean is still warm. It is peaceful and way laid back. A great getaway destination.
