I've been looking for this commercial for 20 years. I recall the theme song like it was yesterday but could never find it. This song has been a thorn in my brain but now I'm happy to have found it here. Thank you YouTube. I would like to know if there is more to this theme song than the 45 seconds we see on the commercial.

I love this ad, it is so sensual and sexy. Yes it is Kevin Sorbo of Hercules Fame. Wow, the women is also gorgeous!! I remember watching these ads in the cinema before the movie came on in the late 80's to 90's. Cheers ;o)

This ad was shot in 1988 in Barbados for Bacardi. An Australian crew flew to Barbados; David Dineen was the director and Jeff Darling was the cinematographer. Barbadian Greg Hoyos, DDB Sydney account director, coordinated the production. With its enigmatic ending, this ad became one of the best-loved ads on Australian TV; it ran for five years.
