I started watching this show in about the 3rd season. It really was an interesting series. It made the wifes look much worse than the gangsters. Some of the dialogue was priceless. Paulie was the star, in my opinion. I'm glad they killed off Chris and his woman. The Phil Leotardo hit was one of the funniest scenes of all time.

After T whacked Christopher I didn't care if he lived or died.
The fat fuck psychopath needed killing.
Now Carm can go after a decent life with a decent man.
AJ might have a chance to survive to 30 yrs old.
And Meadow can be a Lawyer or Doctor without always having to explain away her family.
Oh!
The Sopranos was the best Dramatic series ever.
I can't even imagine anyone ever creating anything on TV that will capture the hearts and minds of as many people as The Sopranos did.

Chase can give all the artsy fartsy existential explanations that he wants for giving us a fucking black screen...but it's nothing more than laziness or fear of not giving the fans a stellar ending to a stellar show. What's the difference between a black screen and no finale? Absolutely nothing. Even without a finale we would be imagining our own ending to the show. Well, even withthe finale we are still doing the same fucking thing. Retarded.
