  • is the light changing at 0:30 intended to be like that? or is it just very coinfidence?

  • @fhangorn it was coincidence

  • when i change my bulbs in my aquaticlife 4 bulb fixture can i use VHO bulbs instead of HO to get more wattage

  • @jcourtway07 Chances are your HO bulbs are T5's and the VHO's will be T12's. That means different sized plugs for them. So unless you tore apart your fixture, the VHO's won't work in that fixture.

  • what about fish im changing my bulbs this week and i have 75 g saltwater 7 fish and 2 anemones lights wise i have MH and PC but i upgraded to MH and T5

your videos are great helps alot when getting into this expensive hobby

  • @pulga2389 Fish won't care. Your coral and anemones will though.

  • @reefguy710 bulb change can also vary.. some say that MH can last 5000-10000 hours. as mark says color shift and fading of PAR also make time for change. when t5 first came on they said 12-16 months. its still a toss up for the most part but PAR readings dont lie

  • awesome videos! just got my first corals!

  • @reefguy710 I recommend every 6 months.

  • ive never had to change my bulbs yet so im curious. do i wait for the bulb to die or do i just replace it every 6 months or something. i have 1 metal halide and 4 t-5 bulbs.
