Minecraft Compact Two Player Trading System

I made this a few months ago for Kingdom of Alesgan clan server, to prevent problems with trading.

I decided to upload a video of it after seeing sethbling's video with similar concept. His system is safer, but awfully large in my opinion. ;-)

If you aren't a complete moron, you shouldn't be able to get robbed when using this. If you don't like the offer, just don't pull the lever and collect your items by stepping in the pressure plate area. Other player can't reach them. Also the levers are connected to an AND gate, so both players have to pull it to proceed.

You can cut the height down by a two blocks i think to make it even more compact. It's made this way for design purposes only.

@sethbling Men, i just spend few hours in single player trying to figure it out, and i actually did! And it's still lot smaller. I will upload it soon. Thanks for you critique! It helped me a lot. I hope you will look at my new design and tell me if you find any flaws.

@LordWizardy If one person takes back items, it needs to remove the items for the other person. Otherwise it's just not going to be secure. I'm not sure there's a super compact way to do it. The ice is a nice touch, although most people will not have access to placeable ice blocks.

@sethbling You have a point. It's sure not 100% safe, but that's the price you pay for it being pretty small. I made it mostly to prevent people not getting paid for their items during frequent trades in the spawn area. Trading with this is really fast, simple and at least a lot safer then normal trading :-) I think with your system, you get 100% safety but spent a lot of space and trading time.

Do you have any tips how to make this safer but keep it compact?

Once the other player has accepted, can't you just take back your item and then accept in order to grab their item?
