Here's another gaming achievement I did in the past week. My most recent download from the Wii Shop Channel was Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, originally released for the Nintendo 64. It didn't take me long to figure it out and clear it, but the fact remains that I had a lot of fun cleaning out the bosses; as far as I know, that's possibly grown to a specialty of mine.
So, to cap it off, as soon as I got 100% I practiced and practiced the bosses ready to tackle the boss rush extra on the save file's options menu. This is the result of my labor!
Part 2 covers the other four bosses in the set, so here we go.
Magman was an interesting boss; the formation is pretty easy but I did dread the rocks to some degree on the second. I didn't let that one rock on the head get to me; the fact remained that I had two in my mouth at the time (which meant inflicting double damage onto the monster) so all is good. The first form was plain sailing, maybe aside from one missed shot but no damage was still taken in there at least.
I had 4HP by the time I reached HR-H/HR-E, possibly what I thought was one of the cooler bosses in the game in terms of design. I had a perfect run through there and all, and I think that must be one of my best fights in the set.
Miracle Matter could have been better though; that was the one I practiced the most and I was more dreading its bomb forms due to the randomness of its attack pattern. However, an accidental cause of damage during its spark form and its rock form (which I thought I could be clever to hit it by tossing it above... and it somehow failed) made me feel that I could be in a bit of a rough pickle for the next boss.
Thankfully, my 02 battle was AWESOME. I didn't take a single stroke of damage, though I did end up flinching with the tail upon seeing it for its second time. For the fact that I cleared over half of its health upon first instance it showed that I could potentially clear it quickly but other than that I did okay. It also helped me exploit how slow she could react in the spherical arena we had to fight in and all, hence finding out the "going round in circles" strategy concerning the hitting aspect. There we go.
There's no commentary here as I just want the gameplay to speak for itself. Oh well, I'm happy.
Thanks for watching :D
You know, you can make a dynamite out of fire and stone.

@nophaluck You know, power-ups are forbidden in the continuous Boss Battle mode :\

Dunno why people keep calling the final boss "Zero Two". Personally, I prefer calling it "Dioxide". Why? You get to say "die" while saying its name.

@Paelaer There was a boss called Zero in Kirby's Dreamland 3, the platform Kirby game that was released before this one. If you bring up footage of the fight from that game, then you may understand why people refer to it as Zero-Two :)
