@rahungry They are different games? I suppose you want to know how they differ mechanically. Well, King's Bounty has more of a hero building aspect to it than I think HOMM does. Also the there are no castles or other resources to control in KB, instead you are managing which creatures you hire, which enemies you fight first, and in HOMM it is more about controlling certain things on the map.

King's Bounty predated HOMM or WOW. Some people even casually called it 'HOMM 0'. It started the basic foundation that HOMM would use, except the main purpose of the game is NOT conquest, but simply to apprehend various wanted criminals and criminal overlords.

I did too..Never completed it though got right to the end and think i didnt have enough dragons to win or something like that. Great game though :)
