I tried to use the Low B string in several points on this tune to make you appreciate his quality.

It has a powerful attack used with the bridge pickup and a definite sound also combining the two pickups together. The neck pickup is just in a lower position, (just 2mm additional distance from the string). The action is quite low but the strings have a very good tension and there is almost no fret noise. I didn't use any head or bass amplifier for this recording...I just connected the bass to my Tascam Us122. You can find other videos and more tests with this bass on this channel. Stay tuned and leave your comments :-)

  • Is that some type of Fender Jazz Bass?

  • @tall32guy it is quite different... the bridge pickup is in a different position and though the 24 frets give more oppurtunities, the sound is brighter compared to a 21 fret fingerboard. This bass is perfect if you are looking for a modern instrument inspired to Jazz Bass but with a brighter and powerful sound.
