that was the first and only time shes ever done that and second of all my breeder whos been breeding bearded dragons for 25 years says its a sign of nervousness

guys im getting a young one soon bout 19 cm long under a year, should i still use repti-carpet or use sand or is it to high risk of them swollowing the sand while eating. i will feed them in the viverium for more natural hunting

sand is fine and looks better but never use cal sand use kilm blasted or play sand they won't impacted they live in the desert i have never had a beardie die or get impaction and i always feed them in the inclosure but if you feed them worms but them in a dish crickets are fine to run around repti carpet is fine as well
