Living Room Sessions Episode 3: Where we record a rendition of our favorite songs each week and withstand all the song's purists trashing it. :)

We're tackling Paul McCartney's "Here Today" this week. It takes some guts to cover one of the greatest songwriters who ever lived but so far we've gotten encouraging words that we didn't completely mangle it.

Paul McCartney and John Lennon's relationship has always been a intriguing but curious one. An imbalance of power, a heated sibling rivalry, even a strong disdain for one another have all been used to describe their connection. Two brilliant minds pushing each other to the brink of their respective creativity yet supposedly in tandem. Their relationship to each other was probably the most important of their lives and yet were they ever on the same page?

The new film "Nowhere Boy," which highlights Lennon's childhood and musical beginnings, could very well shed some new light on the subject.

This is our rendition of Paul's song to John, written after his death and we hope you enjoy it.

  • @ladinia999 thanks glad you liked our version. We love Paul and his wonderful songs. A legend.

  • You remind me incredibly much of Jeff Buckley. You have actually captured his voice. Wouldn't be surprised if you had covered any of his songs. And I live in Sussex in the UK, but your channel says you're from America lol :(

  • @MatthewAlfrey Hey thanks know west sussex well having spent summers in a small village near Petworth and backed a few losers at Goodwood. Happy days. We admire Jeff Buckley too

  • You have an amazing voice. Keep up your work! :)

  • @spikypirate thanks for your support. We're looking forward to a return visit to Yorkshire where were playing at a two day Music Festival at the end of October.
