It is November, time to kill and process one of the specially-bred period pigs, a wild boar Tamworth cross. With winter coming the team accelerate their work on the cowshed by building a wattle and daub wall, and in the orchards it is the last chance to bring in the medlar crop.

  • I loved watching them build that shed. the processing of there pig and enjoying eating it after the work of caring for it.. its such a primal human thing. I have hunted and personally butchered elk and deer its an amazing feeling to know you are providing for your family that way and having everyone take part and enjoy the bounty from the work you put in as a family. I know they are not family, however its the same feeling they are enjoying.. at least it appears to be so.

  • Alex so did not twist that spar (or whatever) at 10:18. My OCD kicked in and I kept going back and looking over and over and nope. He didn't twist it.. just pretended to.
