@trigot33 West Virginia is a separate state from Virginia. You've only seen the main road of the county seat, you should see Diamond Street or Millcreek south of Elkins, or as we call it Pillcreek.

I enjoyed the video. My mom was from Elkins and I still do have relatives living there. When I lived in Ohio I use to go there when I was a kid. Some of the best family vacations were spent there.

Thanks for the vid. I'm from Elkins and I still love going back there. Was there for the Forest festival this past fall. We sat in the shade on the front porch of the Chinese restaraunt and loved every minute of it. Had dinner at the Elkins Motor Lodge, went to the metropolis of Coalton to see if my grandparent's home is still there; it is. We try to get over to Pickens and Helvetia for the Maple Syup Festival in March. Lots of BEAUTIFUL country around there.
