Kumite Corner Episode 05: Heaven's Gate

Heaven's Gate was developed by Racdym and published by Atlus in 1996. It appeared in arcades, then later that year, on PlayStation. The PlayStation version added Kurara/Clara from Atlus' Gouketuji Ichizoku (AKA Power Instinct) series as a hidden character.

Heaven's Gate really isn't anything to write home about. The characters are standard, the gameplay is generic, and the graphics are run-of-the-mill for the time period. If I remember correctly not too many 3D fighters of the day had super moves, but I can't really prove that.

Heaven's Gate is a trademark of Racdym/Atlus. Gameplay was recorded by me, on MAME. The music in the beginning is from Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.

Any attempts to modify this video in any way, including reposting under another profile, claiming ownership of the production, audioswapping, and removal, will ensure that Heaven is NOT where you will end up after death.
