@Picard578 well I don't see what that has to do with it most want at least some tech transfer in these deals.we won't know much more for probably a few more years or so there is no reason to leak the info and f-22 doesn't have a serious competitor operational yet.there really can't be a serious comparison for sometime but without some serious proof or a very educated case I honestly don't see how anything comes even really close to f-22,f-35 will be second best and many will have it why give it?
@Picard578 well quick facts the governments seem to covet f-22 more then typhoon or anything else for that matter and the enemies are trying to figure it out and always reference it like the chinese and russians.it is not for sale or export and many things are kept hidden so either there is something important to be kept hidden or its a publicity stunt which is uncharacteristic of the US military.its a lot more expensive and most tech typhoon has was well known during its design phase.just a few
@Picard578 most people acknowledge the f-22 as the best fighter in the world and even with other 5th generation fighters like pak fa come out the f-22's full performance is still unknown.again I have seen no real evidence that EF's radar is somehow more powerful or capable than f-22,f-15,or awacs for that matter.why do you think EF is trying to get AESA and meteor?it like the rafael will have to try to stay competetive against anything under 5th generation.that review has yet to be verified.
@Picard578 look at it this way even if this thing with whatever radar it has can detect f-22 at 50 miles thats still well below what it can be detected at,and below the potential of its missiles.
@Picard578 how would you or just about any civilian know?is your dad in charge of the typhoon project or something?nobody even know the full capabilities of either radar.

@renegadekav probably below standard combat range. EFT has stealth from frontal aspect, and better radar (especially thanks to its more spacious nose), while F22 has all-aspect stealth and better frontal stealth but worse radar.
What the F-22 maily lacks is numbers. 187 is not enough.
