  • The worst move in rock and roll history - Taylor leaving the Stones. 1969-1973 were what made the Rolling Stones the Greatest Rock and Roll band in the World or whatever. It was due to a great line up with no weaknesses. Taylor's solos were unreal. He and Keith traded rhythm licks and solos (that's when Keith actually ripped out good solos). It seemed to ground Jagger and he was at his best then. When Ron came on, Keith had the stage all to himself, that's for sure. No more competition.

  • On The Stones Kick... lol

  • Absolutelt love this Blues sound from The Stones - just close your eyes and let yourself go - who needs to watch a video when listening to this?

This track is a great cover version from their 1969 album 'Let It Bleed'.....

  • @crackernumber2 They didn't need them because they had f***** Richards and Taylor man, two of the finest haha

  • Mick Taylor i the best

  • everybody has an opinion which band was was #1.i can say with the stones in the class it didnt take long to call the roll

  • @stuckin1968

I'd only add "never to be duplicated or even attempted". At that time and at that time, he was in the right place with the EXACT amount of insight to create the nowadays "masterpieces?. Perfectly placed are his years with the then STONES!

  • Does it get better than this, as far as Rythm & Blues goes??? No it does not.

Youtube has allowed us all to pay respects to Mick Taylor's work from his Stones days every day. I love youtube...

  • This should be the last song standing on this planet...

  • Yep, it's amazing what can be done with major and minor blues scales played with a slide and a 1960 Les Paul Standard with some lovely warm tube distortion!!!!
