When the Muslims arrived in Spain in the 8th century, they settled mainly in the south of the country.

  • @imad07 Hey, how about they'll suck it up?

  • @elipse135 where the hell did get that from? please when you wanna drop a fact, back it up with a reference ;)

  • Alhambra - such a beautiful name !

  • Of many good structures made by Muslims in Spain only few like Alhambra survived while the rest were being destroyed by christians to erase the Muslim history in west.

  • @polemikful And you think that even if just 30,000 arrived that some wouldn't have stayed and had families with the local population? Many historians have debated the number of Moors that actually migrated: there is no certainty and our knowledge history is being constantly updated., that's what makes it so fascinating. And if it was just 30,000 the population wouldn't have remained for 700 years at that level as populations fluctuate.
