Your first line makes no sense. SS is paid for by the tax payer through their income, not by investors. How is that in any way a ponzi scheme? SS has been running a surplus for decades but the govt keeps borrowing from it.

SS is a ponzi scheme because it is paid in by subsequent investors, rather than from profit earned by the individual or organization running the operation. SS is destined to collapse because the earnings, if any, are less than the payments to investors. In other words, I have been paying into a system that is bankrupt and have been subsidizing the baby boomers so they can collect. However, SS keeps raising the age hoping the future investors will die off before they can collect. It is total BS
