kickcopper10-Been listenin to Rory for way many years and still get that feeling that I am home near Memphis in the cotton fields of ( Haywood Co) Tn when I hear him.Sleepy John and I did some of his blues back in the ;70"s. ROCK ON .

@sandyman1960 No its not a Dobro, its a National resonator and the white binding on the neck means that it is a National Triolian. Dobros have a spider bridge, Nationals have a biscuit bridge which is a totally different system. They both are made of metal though.

It is my understanding the Mr. E. Clapton expressed that Mr. R. Gallagher WAS THE GENTLEMAN (and he was a REAL GLETLEMAN) that encouraged him to play the "blues" again.
It really is interesting to realize that Mr. R. Gallagher NEVER PLAY NOTHIN BUT THE BLUES.
Mr. R. Gallagher is the most underrated blues/guitarris EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
