this 600 tonne safe working load lifting beam was loaded out from Steel Engineering (Renfrew) today. This beam is being transported to Rosyth by West Of Scotland Transport and will be used to lift the units for the new aircraft carriers. It is beleived that this lifting beam is one of the largest capacity beams to have been manufactured in the UK in recent years.
