the evo has more than just minor bolt ons...trust me. it has to be tuned also at around 18 or more psi..

@leeption maybe but then again you don't know what is done to the mazda, if the mazda has minimal bolt ons then it wouldn't take the Evo much to pull him...but from the sound of the video, the Evo had an open dump or something

the evo in the vid has to be tuned also. I ran an evo 9 with a tune(just tune) and I only had a c.a.i. and c.b. at the time, and I started pulling on him at around 90-100. very close but i pulled about 1/2 to 1 car, and could have pulled more because the evo is awd..

@leeption I ran a MS3 w/ a 3" catback exhaust in my I/RH/E RSX-S and it was pretty close, I would say the Mazda pulled me about a half a car at most by the end of my 4th gear. I don't think I would be that close at all to a Evo 9 w/ bolt ons, I know many onwers than have them and they easily trap over 105 MPH w/ those mods. The Mazda I ran is probably a 102-103mph car. I also know an owner than trapped 103.5 w/ just CAI only in his MS3. The Evo just responds better to mods, especially the 9

Mazda is not a bad car man, for a FWD/Turbo 4 cylinder, it gives hte SRT-4 a run for it's money performance wise. I'd gotta agree tho, I'd take the evo over the 4 door hatchback.

@leeption an evo 9 with bolt ons and a tune would kill the ms3 worst than that they are very detuned from factory and make alot of power of simple bolt ons if you go all out like i/ dp/tbe, turbo manifold, im/tb, icp, fmic, bov, bc, wastegate actuator, injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail, oil cooler, better tires and a tune the evo can be in the 11's its all how you build it, your tuner, and driver. and I love the ms3 it's just evo's are easy to make very fast now sti's you better have alot of $

lol....this is my EVO 9. All it has is a cutout, cone filter, mbc and a tune.

I give credit where it's due, but the evo has more than minimal bolt ons.. the speed 3 resonds to bolt ons very well without a tune... lol evo has to tuned also... I ran a tuned evo 9 when I only had an intake and cat back and I started pulling on him at around 90-100
