This is a complete list of the organ tracks played in the "Fairground Organ" loop played by Merry-Go-Rounds and Carousels in Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2.

These tracks were originally recorded in 1976 by the C.J. Mead Organisation, from a Voigt Model 35 69-Keyless Street/Band Organ at Bressingham Steam Museum, Norfolk. Called the Bressingham Voigt, it remained there for many years, but was eventually sold and now performs in the Netherlands. The record was owned by Chris Sawyer's father, and it's tracks were used in both RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. From what I understand, all of these songs are original arrangements from the Ruth Fair Organ Company.

Each of these eleven videos contain one of the songs, are numbered in the order they appeared in in-game lists and on the original LP, with the name of the song, as well as it's original writer.

#1: Children of the Regiment (Die Regimentskinder Marsch) [Julius Fucik]
#2: Heken's Serenade [John Heyken]
#3: In Continental Mood [Unknown]
#4: Wedding Journey [Traditional]
#5: Tales from the Vienna Woods [Johann Strauss]
#6: Slavonic Dance [Traditional]
#7: Das Alpenhorn [Traditional]
#8: The Blond Sailor [Traditional]
#9: Poet & Peasant Overture [Franz van Suppe]
#10: Waltz Medley [Johann Strauss]
#11: Bella Bella Bimba [Traditional]

  • I love strauss

  • Who doesn't?

  • It is good that they include this music in a video game to give children or even adults the pleasure of listening.

  • Indeed. This game is what introduced me to Fairground Organ music, actually.

  • The youth of today listen to rap and silly rock. Im like the only person from my class that listens to this beautiful music. Or at least it seems that way. I was raised in a family obsessed with classical music.

But, yes if you are raised with this music you become attached to it. If you are fed by rap or whatever is "in" now a days you will listen to it.

  • I've heard the classical version of this song on Classical WNIU 90.5 FM.

  • I think I'm-a gonna go to hell when I die because I was in school watching a documentary on the Holocaust and this music was playing in the movie; I was humming along with it.

  • @tregnier279 Me too! I have been in love with it ever since! That music seeps into your soul...I still like the sound of this record more than a lot of other fair organs I've heard...I like the fact that there's not a whole lot of reverb to muddy up the sound here. You can really hear the organ as if you were up close to it!

  • how did u rip this

  • Damn this was my and still is my favorite music of ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON

  • is it me or am l starting be 5 yrs old again

  • Me too! I love classical music! Rock and especially rap are very... umm. not very nice sounding. this is very nice sounding! And is very enjoyable! Just please don't mention rap.... Ugh. As me and my friend say rap is crap without the C!

  • Don't diss rock man, rock is good too, just not that Death Metal Crap or that Hardcore Punk.

  • Wow, I'm so glad that you posted these on Youtube! I've played the Rollercoaster Tycoon series, well since I was able to use a computer. I love this music, and all classical music, and I loathe that rap music! Yes, I am agreeing with StreetFightBroadcast. I love this song!
