A little different take on "Yesterday" by the Beatles. There are already alot of covers out there that are closer to the original so I thought, what's the point of me making another that sounds like them, so instead I made this. I would call it a salsa but since I'm not really familiar with what exactly makes a cuban salsa I would say it's influenced by salsa and also a bit by groups like Incognito, particularly the middle part.
The solo I tried to do with an 80's keyboard feel/sound, hopefully not to unlike what you could find on an Al Jarreau song from that era (Spain(I can recall), Alonzo).
I apologize in advance to any die-hard Beatles fans who think that I butchered the song by recording this.
Anyway, keep it funky and groovin' and please enjoy:)
good version! try to do this alive with a real latin group!! hey wich program you re using for recording??

@jivsodrum Yeah that would be cool! To bad we don't have that many latin musicians here in Sweden...
It's recorded using Pro Tools. Thanks for listening and commenting!

Pretty nice! Need more trumpets!

@guikubivan Thanks! I agree it needs more trumpets but it is because the trumpet-sounds I have sound so bad. There are trumpets in this recording, they are just pushed way back in the mix not to draw to much attention to themselves. I'm looking to find some better sounds though so in the future it'll sound better hopefully!
