Night of Silent/Silent Night - Massed Choirs

All the choirs are singing this song, and we always sing this for the Winter concert here at Killarney. It's a mix of Night of Silent (which we don't know) and Silent Night (which we know).

Uh, yeah. I blacked out the video, but left the audio. Like I said in my other videos, my dad kept the camera on me, so in this song, he did that. I was holding a candle, along with all the grade 12s and chamber choir students. Too bad you can't see all the lights. It's really magical looking.

You know, there should be more guys joining choir. I even persuaded my brother to join and he really likes it. He kind of resembles me when I first joined choir. :D

i know, really, in my chorus class, out of 120 people in my chorus class, there are only 10 boys counting me.

That's a lot of people in one class. =o But then again, there are 7 different classes. I'm just glad there are more guys in choir at my school.

I miss choir. It's one of the few things I miss about high school.

They skipped the second verse, the one mostly sung by the men "Voice in the distance, call in the night, in wind you enfold us you speak of the light, gentle on the ear you whisper softly, rumors of a dawn so embracing, breathless love awaits darkened souls, soon will we know of the morning", which serves to make the first verse even more powerful and makes the third verse have a somewhat different feel. I feel like the second verse is the most important of the bunch.

@ElphabaWeaslely Well I have something sort of close to that, not to brag, but the high school choir I was a part of in 2001-2003 (11th and 12th grade) won 14 awards at a national adjudication, so that's about the closest to a pro recording you can get I would guess.

Why did they say light at the begining? It's 'Winter of life'. I know, vowel sounds, but at least I don't make it sound like 'light' XD
