Stephan Kaluza - Projekt: Berliner Mauer

Der Düsseldorfer Stephan Kaluza ist Maler, Fotograf und Performance-Künstler.
Bekannt geworden ist er durch seine Fotobände "Thames" und "Der Rhein", in denen er die beiden Flüsse von der Quelle bis zur Mündung alle 10m fotografierte und die Bilder zu einem durchgehenden Fotostreifen montierte.
In seinem neuen Buch "Berliner Mauer" wendet er das selbe Prinzip an und montiert den 50km langen innerstädtischen Mauerverlauf zu einem Fotostreifen.
Zu sehen ist die Serie in der Galerie Felix Ringel in Düsseldorf und im Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin.

Stephan Kaluza is a painter, photographer and performance artist and lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.
He became known through his photography books "Thames" and "The Rhine" in which he assembled the two rivers from its source to its mouth every 10m photographed and the pictures into a continuous strip of photo.
In his new book "Berlin Wall", he applies the same principle and assembles the 50 km long inner wall of the course to a photo strip.
