Ahhh...the blatant hypocrisy and twisted psychology attached to cancer: Young sob-sisters will dutifully shave their heads in sympathetic acknowledgment of the harrowing, yet “therapeutic,” radiation-poisoning being suffered by a cancer-plagued friend. Yet, If I were to wear an eye-patch to show my support for a cataract-sufferer, pad my abdomen with pillows during my wife's pregnancy, or fake a limp because a brother recently lost a leg, I'd be deemed an aping fool.

Note to all: soundstage8 and myself have sent seperate emails to WMG explaining that the return of the music to this video is a win-win outcome. It is a win to WMG as it increases the chances that a sale will be made. By doing so, sales increase. It is a win for viewers/listeners, as the tribute may be appreciated in full. I am a fan of Paul Newman and this is the reason I have made the effort I have.
May I also point out that no cynic ever achieved anything.
Regards,
Tom.

Sound: Well now ya do. ;)
Note to WMG: If profits are your concern, you have just decreased them. The number one factor which drives sales is the exposure of the song and the empathy which it creates in its listeners. Soundstage8 has used two songs to commemorate a man which he, I and others connect with.
The response you have made is to bring down knowledge of the song(s), smear your brand and destroy an opportunity.
I ask: how can I possibly buy the music when I haven't been able to evaluate it?

The last one is "Not Goin' Home Anymore" By Burt Bacharach. It was featured in Newman's film, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," which I highly recommend ;)
