NICE!!! I just picked up a 490 and have plans of doing exactly what you did, get rid of the washy front suspension for an inverted setup. 2 strokes TRUCK!!!!

they are a good bike, first two stroke iv owned is one of these, the dg pipe+muffler make a good power increase too, v-force 3 reeds also go good on them, the standard drum brake fronts on these are deadly tho, need to upgrade mine soon, had way too many near-misses

this is the kind of bike i dream of, only water cooled. lol i want to make custom bikes out of newer engines and frame designs with old school aesthetics.

Lovely bike. My first bike I bought out of my wages was a 1982 IT175J, wish I still had it. Always wanted a 465 or 490 though, :)

Beautiful bike. The IT490 is on my wish list of bikes I've always wanted. Great color, awesome sound, it reminds me of my childhood when these things roamed the woods!
