@drumdude46 ciao, I am ryanair pilot as well, I can confirm what said by mattiussi, PF calls " gear up " and PM responds " positive rate "....yes, for me at least at the beginning it was a bit tricky but this is the way we do..... ciaooo

for scenery and eye-candy, they could use Microsoft FSX with all the add-ons and AI traffic on dedicated severs, and also use crew announcements. It'd be super realistic!

the PM is not blind, he must verify the positive rate is reached before the gear is actually retracted. btw the PF verifies as well the positive rate before the call is given (as you can see from the video, the command is given seconds after lift off).

The PF calls "gear up" and the PM " responds " positive rate" that's company SOP.

Other way around my friend. PNF verifies VSI rate and ALtimiter Climbing First, says "Positive Rate". PF (capt) will then respond with "Gear up"
PNF reaches over and performs the action.
