I agree with the comment that this is very impressive! I love the Chevy Trailblazer, but am now loving it even more given what you were able to do with it. Thanks for posting this video!

Nice job and well done! We did it in a Toyota Sequoia two weeks ago, did it all in one day. The Shafer section was so scary. You have a hottie for a wife too by the way, Yummy

Both videos are great, I just returned today from the trip and can appreciate all the footage you took!

Must have been a rental, maybe with a mini-spare!

I agree, really brave to go through this road.

If you plan to off road with a Trailblazer, make sure you have a TB with a G80 locking rear diff. I am pretty sure the TB in this video did not have one, which is why it got hung up in some areas.
Impressive that you were able to take a seemingly stock trailblazer on this trail. How well did this vehicle handle the tough sections of the trail? Was its ground clearance sufficent? How long did the whole trail take to complete? I own this same truck and am curious of its off road capability since few people seem to take them off road.

If you go slow - and I mean really slow - you will be fine. Even going slow there is always a chance to hit some rock with the cars underbody though as ground clearance is certainly not ideal. 2 days are sufficient, but necessary also. You need a reservation for camping.
