  • i just saw the cfr's a few days ago. i was supposed to go to a small retreat over there today but i missed it. :( anyways, i liked this but i dont see this having much to do with mysticism

  • They should have also mentioned the fact that in Fatima, 70000 people saw the miracle of the sun, which Our Lady done so people would beleive her.

  • two of the three women doctors of the Church were carmelites: St. Teresa of Avela and St Teresa of Liseux were. I don't know the third, but I know she was not Carmelite

  • the one problem is though, they are not monks, they are cloistered, which is what clasifies one as a monk. They are mendicants but have a spirituality to rival a carthusian.
