i just saw the cfr's a few days ago. i was supposed to go to a small retreat over there today but i missed it. :( anyways, i liked this but i dont see this having much to do with mysticism

They should have also mentioned the fact that in Fatima, 70000 people saw the miracle of the sun, which Our Lady done so people would beleive her.

two of the three women doctors of the Church were carmelites: St. Teresa of Avela and St Teresa of Liseux were. I don't know the third, but I know she was not Carmelite

the one problem is though, they are not monks, they are cloistered, which is what clasifies one as a monk. They are mendicants but have a spirituality to rival a carthusian.
