  • Hey neohillbilly, thanks for the props. The song in question was blasting out of some window in Tijuana and was impossible to edit it out. Lawyer informed us that it was 'fair use'. I didn't didn't even know what the song was until much later when I got hip to Ozomatli. Who is, for the record, awesome. But: they are rich and I am not, so if they sue me for all I'm worth, they will wind up with half my debt. Hopefully, you can cut a brother some slack on this one.

  • That was a great movie. Thank you for posting this!

  • glad you liked!

You might like my recent one, "A Lawyer Walks Into a Bar...". Scrabble players have been replaced with lawyers.

  • This is a total ripoff of the Seven Samurai, Fame, and Night of the Living Sherman. Plus tthere was no mention of the best Scrabble player ever. Ron something.

  • Amazing film. Just rewatched it this week.

  • Hey, I am wondering why Ozomatli's song is not credited?

Good film, excellent editing. Just wondering about this glaring omission, especially considering the placement of the song...

  • Great movie! I love Scrabble, and I found the characters you chose to focus on very interesting. I laughed a lot, but also enjoyed the depth in your portrayal of extreme discipline, while in some cases, a loss of certain skills (social, for instance) particular players suffer. Definitely a delicate balance of consequence, even in something so *seemingly* trivial. Very cool! :o)
