Nice, sounds beasty. I've got K&N intake system and super 44 flowmaster muffler.... Lookin forward to putting headers on it.

that sounds awesome. i've seen some of these other videos with the header setup and the rasp just makes me cringe but yours sounds great.

@Catchertony long tube headers will give you an actual performance gain if i where you i would get them and a quieter muffler to compensate for the rasp

You hear about the doug thorley shortty's i was just wondering cause their cheaper than the JBA's but im worried about the DT rasp after hearing the long tubes.... just a question..... Anybody have or heard the DT short tubes yet?????

eliminating your cat(S) gets your a maxiumum of about 4hp so I HONESTLY don't know.

i doubt they make as much hp as the dt long tubes, the long tubes eliminate the primary cats

actually I retract that.
I was jjust looking up new headers, and the JBA shorty performance headers are apparently the best. They increase the most horsepower. NICE! Did you get the Y-Pipe with it as well?

it's like night and day getting headers.
too bad you didn't get some long tubes, that was my mistake.

i have 08 prerunner tacoma v6 4.0. have xdi true flow and trd full catback exhaust. i would like dual exhaust but always hear negative stuff bout it. have my jba shorttube headers on their way now. they cost me 350 and 400 installation. gnarly but cant wait to hear the difference with headers

i would like to do this exact exhaust setup, do you have the part number to the magnaflow you bought? And did you run a h pipe?
