Maj. Al "Jewel" Kennedy and Capt. Jack "Woody" Stallworth amend their performance to account for the rain which interrupted their first takeoff. The result is a vapor cone around the body of the F-15, "Angel Wings" off the tops of the intakes and the ability to visualize the amount of G-loading on the aircraft. Not to mention, a lot of noise from the twin afterburning engines!
Of course it was flown VFR.... If it wasent, the ordiance wouldnt see the display, and the pilots wouldnt see the ground !!..In englend, when we say 'on top' we mean of the the clouds..flying on top of the clouds (IFR flight rules...or IMC)..Every display ever flown would be VFR. As a pilot myself, i dont enjoy flying VFR, i trust instruments more then pilot judgment ! :-)

if you get the chance to go to this show at oceana or any other airshow i highly advise it. this is one of my all time favorite demos. just the noise of the planes will give you chills, great thing to see with the family and just experience. take some friend along to that dont really care for it. im sure they will change there minds. much love

Wonderful to watch on uTube. Can't imagine what it would be like in person. I have a feeling it would be one of those, 'you'd have to be there'things. lol
Thanks Semper!
