  • I'll look forward to seeing you July 12th. Having such great companies as Adobe, Artbeats, Accusys, AJA, Blackmagic, etc., will make the day a real event. Oh, and I've got some great training ready.

  • You are most welcome! My website is experiencing some stress today - over 800,000 hits! If you can wait to download, it might be advisable.

  • For many this will be essential to getting know FCP X as well as it features and the quicker and more methodical the easier its manage and work more effectively.

  • @pursuitpolic2 Thank You, but this problem is just 0.00001% of all that I have from Final Cut Pro X, the programs is not ready yet no matter what's Larry Jordan says, Larry get paid from Apple to says that the program is the shit! I wrote to him that when the skimming is off the program must have a play head to move manualy but he say that not necesary, Larry, let me remainds you that you are NOT the only editor in the world, I love you but keep it real. Given this program for free is expensive.

  • @nelsonmilian00 go to the right side of the screen where you have your transitions, titles, etc. Cycle through that area until you find the ''generators'' and choose a black solid

  • this video is a really good reminder.

  • @StereoFlange The tools had 2 arrow, Selection and Position, with position you can move the clip 2 second to the front without the clip snap atomaticly, thank you, I'am just start using Avid Media Composer in a learning mode and compare to FCX I really like it, I thinks I have a winner here!

  • @nelsonmilian00 import a black jpeg

  • @nelsonmilian00 Edit > Insert Gap pretty simple it replaces a slug

  • I just bought a tutorial and am chugging away learning FCPX. I want to make a point that no one would buy FCP Studio, try to make a video, and then rant and swear because they couldn't do something, and blame Apple for their problem. This is a deceptively complicated piece of new software and pretty much requires tutorials like Larry's or the one over at Ripple Training.

I do wish Apple had included an hour of video on their site, so we could have a running start and make purchase decisions.

  • I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW IN THE HELL I CAN PUT 2 SECOND OF BLACK VIDEO IN THE BEGINNING OF THE TIMELINE? THIS IS SHIT!! APPLE YOU KILL ME!!!

  • Got my videos today. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking comprehensive training on Final Cut Pro X. Nice job, Larry.
