@MALACHAI39 You asked "Where does the Bible use this word 'godhead"?" Answer: Col 2:9 theotés: deity Original Word: θεότης, ητος, ἡ Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine Transliteration: theotés Phonetic Spelling: (theh-ot'-ace) Short Definition: deity, Godhead Definition: deity, Godhead. You asked "Where does the Bible use the phrase 'The God Son"?" Answer: John 1:1 The Word (the Son) was God. Ok, now here's the part where you say...."blah" "blah" "blah" etc, etc, etc, ready? GO!

You stated...
John 1:1..and the Word was a god

"You forgot the 'a' in the verse. Of course you'll yell & scream that it doesn't belong there."
Thanks, but I'll stick with the ORTHODOX Biblical interpretation.
You can "walk on the wild side if you like ; )

Your initial premise regarding the resurrected Jesus (or any person for that matter) only relay's that if they truly retained the same body and facial features that some still wouldn't believe. Yet I doubt you yourself would be hard-pressed to remotely doubt the resurrection of someone you knew for a certainty died then show you their face and still be vehemently reluctant to believe that person is who they say they are.
But there it is...

I believe your implying Thomas was not satisfied seeing his Lord's face but needed more proof by actually touching his execution marks. Talk about no faith even seeing his face!
Also the words found in verse 29 only highlights that seeing his face wasn't enough and needed to see and feel his way in order to believe.
Of course I do not agree with your interpretation but I'm quite amazed at the length you go to read into something that isn't there.

I agree, very interesting. I've been studying the tri-unity of God with the help of the Jewish people's themselves for at least 4 years, the messianic community who believe in Jesus Christ as their "HaMoshiach". One of the greatest helps for me has been "Ariel Ministries" and Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum = ariel . org
He has free studies, with audio and pdf transcripts to go with the teachings:

Be blessed, and let the peace of Christ reign in your heart. xxx

@rpierre777 Hello, and thanks for your reply. The Elder was reasoning that Jesus was just an angel who volenteered to come down AND to die for our sins. His reasoning is that the angels must all have differant personalities and that if a differant angel had died for us then God would be asking us to reflect that angels personality. Guess he forgot about John14:9, Heb.1:3 and Col.1:15. Sorry I wasnt more clear, youtube dosent give much comment space so I had to cut it down.
If Jesus had the exact same body and facial features then why would Thomas need to see the wounds from his execution?
Wouldn't seeing him alive suffice?
Also who is really trying to deceive, I mean, isn't it the Trinity demanding it's believers that an Eternal being can die? How does a Eternal being die?
"I tell you this, brothers: Flesh and blood can't inherit God's Kingdom, nor can [something] corruptible inherit something that's incorruptible."(1 Corinthians 15:50)

"If Jesus had the exact same body and facial features then why would Thomas need to see the wounds from his execution?"
(The Bible is silent on whether Thomas ACTUALLY "examined" Jesus.)
"Wouldn't seeing him alive suffice?"
It appears it was. 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
(Jesus tells us that Thomas SAW him. A THAT point, Thomas may not have needed anything more)
Blessings!

Col 4:6 Let YOUR utterance be always with graciousness, seasoned with salt, so as to know how YOU ought to give an answer to each one.

It truly is a shame to see a man of your age using laughter as a tool to ridicule someone. And that's Godly behavior to you?

Where does the Bible use this word 'godhead"? Where does the Bible use the phrase 'The God Son"? Yet trinitarians use word/phrases not even in the Bible to support their unGodly teachings/doctrines don't they?
