Thus they could, after his return, compose music reflecting his possible demise and their grief at not knowing his outcome once they heard he was seriously injured and another person were killed in the accident. This makes FAR more sense to me than a replacement who would have looked, sounded and even played left-handed. It also would easily explain how Paul was somewhat different. Of course; he died and came back to life, a truly profound and sublime experience which has been reported by others

And the subsequent cover-up; could you even imagine if word got out Paul was in a car accident and was seriously injured? Holy shit-catz, people around the world would have freaked the hell out! Girls would have jumped off of roof-tops and the press would have had a field day! It would be a nightmare for them and their mgmt. to deal with. They probably didn't know if he would fully recover. Thus a temp. replacement [William Shears] would be brought in for photo purposes until he recovered.

I don't know...that's one hell of a big conspiracy to cover-up. I propose my own theory as a long time Beatles fan; Paul was in fact in a terrible auto accident, Rita the hitchhiker was killed and Paul had died for a short time but was brought back to life. Something not unheard of and would explain much including their seeking deeper meanings of life and death through ancient mystical religions and cultures as well as their new found creativity evident on and after Sgt. Pepper's album.

Is this real or fake? Please tell if me the real Paul is still alive or not with some sort of proof, but I suppose that's asking too much. I'm starting to believe the whole PID thing and it makes me sad because Paul was my favourite Beatle. I thought it was fake at first but now I'm having second thoughts.

@bolliebabe The song is called The Whale by Electric Light Orchestra.

I reckon they just played along with the death ideology to fuck with people's minds, honestly. There really isn't enough factual evidence for it.
-
On "Yesterday & Today", why is John the only one wearing a white sweater under the butcher coat? Could that mean that he died in `66? Hmmm, let's look for some clues!
