  • What a blessing it is to find answers as you give, believe in Jesus Christ is the only truth is the Holy Spirit who teaches because thanks to the mercy of God has been revealed the truth. Thanks for sharing beautiful video was of great blessing to my life. Where was this place that was recorded this video? God bless you!

     HE IS LORD. HALLELUJAH.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Maybe. But anyone who does not act because they haven't 100 % certainty will be unable to act at all. There is rarely that kind of certainty in anything.

I must act, and I must act on the best information. For me that is to trust in Jesus. It has been more than fifty years since I made that decision. In those years I've looked carefully at the claims of the Bible, the theology, and the historical evidence. I have only become more satisfied that I made the right choice.

  • @campdon The thing is, if the Mormons, Muslims, or Jehovah's Witnesses are right, we will both be in trouble. Even if all of the evidence does point to Christianity, maybe Allah is just testing us. So even if you are cautious, you still might be believing the wrong thing. So that should be something to think about.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I might like to believe that, but taken as a whole revelation, Scripture does not allow me to do so. Without getting into theology, at the very least, it is best when there is uncertainty, to error on the side of caution. Caution urges me to warn all that what you decide is critical. Romans 10:13 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

It is hard to listen to Jesus without hearing that warning.

  • @campdon Psalm 139 says that God wrote our days before they came to be. So then God knew that all of these people would choose to go to hell but he created them anyways. Universal Salvation teaches that God created these people not so that they could go to hell, but so that they could learn something important. Wouldn't you rather believe that instead?

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I don't quite follow your logic either. But no one close to me (or anyone) could possibly say anything that would damn their soul to hell - except, "I will not believe and follow this Jesus," It is on that basis (couched in the language and the culture of that person) alone that any one will end up in hell. The opposite is true as well. No one ends up in heaven but those who choose to believe in and trust Jesus. YOU must decide, knowing what you now know.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I don't know of Sam Harris. We all choose who we will serve: God or ourselves. What other people say or do has nothing to do with where I end up. I am responsible for my own choices and actions. Many people don't want to be responsibile - they feel that everyone else including God and the government owe them something. Where is the personal responsibility? Jesus put the responsibility square on your own shoulders. John 3:16-18. Believe in and follow Christ. That's it.

  • @Absolute21Truth Well basically, if you believe in an eternal tormenting hell, then someone could possibly say something to someone close to you to damn their soul eternally. You wouldn't want them to do this so torturing people who do this would make a lot of sense. Sam Harris talks about it in one of his videos. And another guy on YouTube said that he would make a video response to your comments.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I am not a pastor. I am simply a sinner saved by grace who believes in the Great Commission and that the Bible should be taken literally wherever possible knowing that some portions are clearly allegorical. As for the comment you posted on my channel I do not follow the logic, please clarify!
