Mark Easter, MUFON's International Director of Public Relations sets the story straight about recent youtube misconduct.

Anonymous youtube users have been impersonating MUFON in an unfortunate slander campaign against a fellow youtube user.

For the record, these anonymous youtube individuals are in no way associated with MUFON. They are acting on their own.

MUFON encourages Freedom of Speech, not Hatred and Slander.

The UFO phenomenon brings out the good, the bad and the ugly in people.

im not going to get into a discussion over et's, ufo's etc...but i do believe we should be doing as mufon is, actively keeping an eye out for them, and sorting through the bullshit that gets reported to perhaps find the cases with more credibility(such as multiple police officers being recorded reporting ufo's over their radio network etc). to not pay at least some attention to these matters, would be like humans sticking their head in the dirt,on a possible galactic super highway. peace.

Actually, you know what : please don't approve my last comment. I'm just going to go about my business and let these people believe what they want. No point in arguing over it and I've wasted enough time on this matter.

The fact that the victim in question is infamous for suppressing dissent is the sole reason for the attacks. I'm not defending impersonators or people who file false DMCA requests, just stating what I know to be a fact.

All of her videos were set to Pending Approval. If you didn't say "OMG ITS A REAL UFO" or if you presented evidence to contradict her claims, she would disapprove the comment and block you. I'd wager that she simply angered the wrong person.

Don't suppress the opinion of others.
