Another fight scene! Usually I would object to the same song being played over again because it's incredibly lazy filmmaking, but because the song is too good, this is an exception. I also find it hilarious that El Supremo, despite being a villain, cannot fight to save his life...

The flashback clip where Freddie runs to his father was used so many times in the cut version, it was an obvious rip, only there to jam moral values and advice down our throats. We never needed this in the story, Americans, as you can plainly see!

  • Is there a squel?

  • @anitacharmine No, this film did so poorly at the box office that Hollywood Road Studios closed down and a planned sequel was shelved indefinitely. All that is known to exist of the film is 12 minutes of unfinished animation; about a minute of this footage has been posted on YouTube by a linetester/animator.

  • Has anyone here read "The Top 100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became An Evil Overlord?" This movie violates so many rules on that list.

  • @Elendieldunadan: I had not read that article until you mentioned it. It's a fun read. I guess convention-breaking is one of the movie's strengths.

  • what the hell does missina say when she turned into a gargoyle??? :S

  • @Uchiharocker5678: "We are related by blood, my dear, but I think I need some of yours!" I know, the sound on this tape is so bad I couldn't hear it the first time either.

  • @xXxTandixXx: When I say "Americans" I mean the American editors, not all Americans. In fact this film has a much larger fanbase in the US than in its native UK because of the edited version's more high-profile video release. I bash the editors because of their treatment of this film and concequently they gave the film a worse reputation than it should have, being the most accessible print out there at the time.

  • After watching that fight sequence, I can see now why they needed to put the British to sleep before invading.

Seriously, those guys could lose a fight with Italians.

  • @LeDucTube I'm afraid it was never released on dvd, but if you buy it on vhs

  • Does anyone know where I can buy this movie on DVD? I can't find it any where.

  • love this film xD

  • 0:48-0:50 did Freddie feel pain or weak before he fell unconcious...hmm

  • Why is the animation so good. But the story or the voice acting is way off some times?
