After making the astro video, and seeing the greenhouse sitting empty, I decided to put this video together. Hurricane Ike delayed the progress for about a month. Houston was a little bit of a mess. Hydroponics are the way to go. Chemical free, yields are excellent (except for disasters), much more nutricious, especially heirloom varieties, space saving, little water usage, healthier plants and healthier for you. The tomato hornworm came in and it wasn't long before it was all gone. I just didn't catch them in time. The plants grew so much, it was like a forest in there and impossible to save it from so many hornworms. I had to power wash the greenhouse from the poop left from the caterpillars. What a mess that was! I learned a lot, early pruning is a must, and a watchful eye. It was fun!
