No they are not good as pets. We are lucky enough to rescue wildlife and the cubs sometimes play with the dogs, but there comes a time when they revert back t o their wild state and do not want to have anything to do with humans or dogs. They also smell terribly so dont advise having them in the house.

@deb9658 Hope i'm not sounding rude but,America was not the one to come up with the idea and is no way the one leading the way to domesticating foxes if you look it up Germany has been breeding foxes for domesticated pet purposes for a while now if i remember right they've been doing it for around 50 years.Also it is not illegal everywhere in the Uk,nor in Canada or in Germany or America.

@deadreck024 Nope, they're a canid, just not a canine! They're their own subgroup, in fact there are several groups of Foxes,and most groups are different enough that they can't crossbreed.
