doubt is the natural healthy urge not to follow the pack.
thousands of lemmings commit mass suicide by jumping off the cliffs of dover in years of overpopulation. Doubt, allows some of the lemming to think "hey maybe this is s bad idea" and you know what, those leming aren't dead. doubt is evolutionarily hardwired into the brain to prevent whole species from going off and fucking themselves over for no reason. so please, research.
