In the little town of Outcrop, Fayette county the B & O Railroad ran through this area probably until the 1920's. There is a push to convert this to rails to trails bike way, and this tunnel is an interesting addition to the journey. If you stop by be sure and support Rails to Trails Pizza an the old Train stop! It was a rainy day and the extraneous noise is raindrops on my umbrella!

I don't know what line the Sheepskin trail formerly was, not sure where the B&O's FM&P line went north of Uniontown, I assume it headed for the Yough though. Neat tunnel though, I was just out there myself not long ago, found myself a lump of coal.
