So this monorail goes right over the sea separating the mainland and Sentosa?

Actually it does goes over the sea. But it riding ontop or by the side of the expressway which is build on top of the sea.

Oh, but unlike the old system where you can only enter Sentosa by road, ferry or cable car, rite?

The old system only tour you around the island. But today the Mono rail nor longer tour you round the island. It become a major transport to the island. However ferry service has being terminated.

Now you can only enter the island via Mono rail, Road and cable car. The ferry terminal has be pull down for other project.

i sorta miss the old one which you can take a ride all around sentosa. now there's only buses
