health care is as much a right as police protection, national defense, and public education.

If taxes are used to pay for most of those then they should be used to pay for all of those.

I resent having to PAY for KILLING BROWN PPL, but I still pay taxes. Is killing brown ppl an American right? If so why do we not have the right to universal healthcare? Death is good, but life is bad????

Yes, the politicians used the illegals to bankrupt hospitals./clinics and caused taxes to go up in communities where elderly Americans lost their homes due to property taxes so high they couldn't pay them (El Paso, Tx) Ditto for the rest of the country.

It is well known that illegals by the millions crossed over to have babies, and get them on welfare, then move back to mexico and still collect welfare. All this is free.

A man died, I could care less if he is WHITE, blue, black, yellow, or brown. Also, if we aren't Native American, then we too are illegal, technically. The fact is a man died. But it isn't because of illegal immigrants or colds. Did he have health insurance? There is a high coorelation between people dying in ERs and not having health coverage. Kucinich commands respect. It is sad that single-payer has been taken off the table; it works pretty well in Canada. The same surgery costs 10 times in the US than it costs in Europe. In the US, some people actually wait until they die because they don't have ANY access to health care in he US. Single payer is at least a good option.
