With respect to Adam DeGraff of The Dueling Fiddlers, for showing that this could be done! (High School talent show, October 2011.)
In response to many questions in the Comments: I picked this up by ear from the Dueling Fiddlers album 'Rock Violin', plus the Led Zep original of course. I'm learning this song right now- I just got the music from Adam earlier this month! I just wanted to let you know that I'm listening to both your recording as well as his to get the "feel" of it. Congratulations on the good work and all your other videos! I will post my version when I have it memorized :)

You're welcome. I did use the first six Suzuki books, and my teachers used many of Suzuki's principles.

Awesome! Was that done in standard tuning (E-A-D-G), or a cross-tuning?

Standard! Nothing here that JS Bach didn't do in 1720 with the Sonatas and Partitas. (Well, in the first half of the clip, anyway.)
