Atheists chant at Muslim protesters - 2012 Atheist Convention

Some Muslims showed up at the 2012 Atheist Convention in Australia. This is what happened :)

Sadly, those brothers and sisters are misunderstanding the Koran. Although The Prophet Muhammad( Peace and Blessings be upon His Name) would not agree with atheism, instead of protesting and saying 'burn in hell' he (PBOH) would pray that inshallah they would except God in any Abrahamic religion (Judaism, Christianity or Islam). This is what I personally believe and what the Torah, Bible and Koran instruct.

For as many muslims that say these people misunderstand the Koran, there are just as many (if not more) who applaud these muslims and, given the chance in an Islamic Nation, would want to see those atheists killed (just read some of the comments). Why extremely different viewpoints? How many non-muslims have been killed because Allah couldn't communicate his intentions clearly?

Although in my limited experience, 'moderate' muslims are the ones ignoring their holy text, not the other way around.
